It is Christmas Eve, a time of mixed emotions. There is no snow and it is mild. Robins and wrens are busy in the hedgerows and crows are combing the fields. I have so many images in my head for various types of art work based on drawings I have made of them and other things! All to do in the new Year I hope.
There are young catkins on the hazels – early but beautiful.
And a very positive thing. The huge tractor tyre that had been dumped into the stream at the top of the lane has been removed by the Council after we told them about the fly tipping.. Thank you Fermanagh and Omagh Council for doing this and doing it so promptly. It makes me hopeful.
A very happy Christmas to everyone from Mullycovet Lane.
